Welcome to the world, Sam!

At 9:47 am on April 3, 2013, we welcomed our beautiful son Samuel Vincent Kube into our family! He weighed 7 lbs. 14 oz. and was 21 inches long.  He is now 1 week old and already it is hard to remember our life without him.  Caring for a little one has been quite the adjustment for Vince and I and it sure has kept us busy (and tired!).  We are learning so much every day.  Being a parent is one of the greatest gifts in life!  We are just trying to enjoy every minute...even the often frustrating minutes in the middle of the night. ;-) 

Sam proved that he was the one in charge right away.  When I went to my OB Appt in the morning on April 2nd, not much progress had been made towards the start of labor, so my Doctor scheduled me to be induced for the following night.  I left my appointment and punched in at work for the day. 30 minutes later my water broke at work!  Sam was not going to let us plan his arrival with an induction, he decided to call the shots!
