Keeping Up With The Kube Family: Life as a family of 3

We have had many visitors stopping by to see Sam, we are definately a very loved family! We enjoyed a visit from the Gochenaurs at the end of April for the Crazylegs race. We had 3 little boys in our house, it was such a great weekend! We were glad to have good weather and were able to play outside. Also Grandma and Grandpa Kube have enjoyed hanging out with Sam. Jeff has yet to see Sam very awake though! Julie watched Sam while Vince and I went to a happy hour with Vince's co-workers. Julie will also be babysitting while we have volleyball on Thursdays this summer, thanks Julie! My old college roommates threw me a post-baby shower also and it was so fun! Two of the girls are expecting their own little ones this fall, how very exciting! We also had a visit from Grandma and Grandpa Fox last weekend. They got lots of Sam time and even let Vince and I go out to a movie together! Although we love our son to pieces, it was great to have some alone time away from the little guy.

Maternity leave is flying by and Vince's summer vacation is nearing closer too. It is great to have warmer weather so we can go out and about in the stroller. As Sam gets older (he is 7 weeks tomorrow!) he is sleeping a little longer at night, and is able to entertain himself for a while playing on his activity mat. Things are getting easier as we are falling into more of a routine too. Hoping to get him trained a little more before Dad takes over though!
